Our mission

An artist grows in front of an audience

Since 2021, our team has opened Izuba's stage to Burundian artists so they can perform, experiment and meet their audience.

More than 100 artists work with Izuba today. Our team runs about fifty events a year, for 150 people in the hall and more than 1,000 in the garden, which has its own stage. Music, dance, comedy, slam and theatre meet here: it is our way of keeping Burundian culture alive and bringing Bujumbura's audiences together.
